Athens, GA – The Georgia Bulldogs have bolstered their 2026 recruiting class with significant additions on Saturday, July 12th, securing commitments from five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro and four-star athlete Tyriq Green. These additions further solidify Georgia’s position as a national recruiting powerhouse.
Kaiden Prothro, a standout tight end from Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia, is ranked as the No. 1 tight end in the country, according to ESPN, and the No. 19 player overall in the nation. Tyriq Green, hailing from Buford High School in Buford, Georgia, is currently listed as the No. 165 recruit in the nation and the No. 13 safety.
The acquisition of both players represents major in-state recruiting victories for Head Coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs. Currently, Georgia boasts 29 commitments within the 2026 class, and projections indicate the team could finish with the nation’s top recruiting class.
