Stock Up, Down After New York Giants’ Week 6 Win Over Philadelphia Eagles

Fri, 10 Oct 2025 13:35:25 +0000

The New York Giants stunned the Philadelphia Eagles, 34-17, on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium. It was a rare prime-time victory for the Giants, and an even rarer win over their NFC East rivals, who have owned the matchup in recent years. Led by their top rookies, the Giants surged to an early lead and took complete control toward the end of the second half and never looked back. It was arguably the team’s best win since 2022 and could be the start of a shift desperately needed at 1925 Giants Drive. Things get no easier in Week 7, however. They will travel to Colorado to take on the talented Denver Broncos.

Here’s a look at whose stock is up and whose is down after the sixth week of the regular season.

Stock Up: RB Cam Skattebo

Rookie running back Cam Skattebo stole the show on Thursday night with his relentless motor, physical running style, and quirky personality. He gained 110 yards on 21 touches and scored three touchdowns. He may not be the biggest or the fastest, but Skatt has an “it” factor and a “won’t be denied” attitude.

Stock Down: CB Paulson Adebo

Although the Giants’ defense played well as a whole, film may not be so kind to cornerback Paulson Adebo. He spent most of the night shadowing wide receiver A.J. Brown and, in total, surrendered seven receptions for 70 yards to go along with a 25-yard defensive pass interference penalty.

Stock Up: QB Jaxson Dart

There’s a new Sheriff in town, and his name is Jaxson Dart. The rookie quarterback came to play in his prime-time debut and outdueled Jalen Hurts with the entire nation watching. Like Skattebo, he displayed true grit and determination, launching his body for first down after first down. He finished the game with 195 yards passing, 58 rushing, and two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing).

Stock Down: CB Deonte Banks

The experiment finally appears to be over. Deonte Banks took just three defensive snaps in Week 6 and didn’t make an impact, which is actually a positive. Usually, he gets flagged. It may be a stain for general manager Joe Schoen, but the time to call Banks a “bust” appears to be official. It just didn’t work out.

Stock Up: CB Cor’Dale Flott

While Banks struggles, Flott is thriving. He’s having his best season as a professional and punctuated that on Thursday night with a key red zone interception of Hurts that he returned for 68 yards. The Giants were leading by 10 points at the time, and at worst, Philly was positioned to make it a one-score game. Instead, Flott gave the offense the ball back, and they punched it in, sealing the coffin.

Stock Down: TE Theo Johnson

There weren’t many “stock down” options in Week 6, and the only reason we’re going with tight end Theo Johnson, who had two receptions for 27 yards, is because he had an ugly drop on third-and-short in the first half. He’s got to clean that up.
