Zabien Brown delivered a crucial clutch performance in his playoff debut against the No. 8 ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Alabama faced a tough start, trailing by 17-0, a far cry from typical Alabama play. The Tide fans desperately needed a spark, and Zabien Brown provided it.
With just 1:26 left in the second quarter, Brown snagged an interception and ran it back a remarkable 50 yards for a touchdown! This play instantly energized the stadium and tied the score at 17-17.
This interception isn’t Brown’s first pick-six of the season. Back in October, he intercepted Joey Aguilar’s pass against the then-No. 2 ranked Tennessee offense, leading to a 99-yard touchdown run that dramatically shifted the course of the game for Alabama, potentially setting them up for today’s playoff appearance.
