Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spoiled his teammates this holiday season with an incredible array of gifts, going above and beyond with his annual generosity. The offensive line, in particular, received a truly luxurious haul.
“Christmas came early for the o-line! Shoutout to QB1 for the gifts 🎄,” a Friday, December 19 post on the team’s official Instagram read, alongside images showcasing the impressive presents.
Mahomes, 30, treated the entire offensive line to an Aventon electric bike (ranging from $1,799 to $1,999), a pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones ($349), a stunning Hublot watch (priced between $12,000 and $25,000), a hardshell Rimowa suitcase ($1,500), and white sunglasses. The group also received a Full Swing golf simulator kit (starting at $11,000).
Reaction to the gifts was enthusiastic: “Woah!”
Mahomes’ generosity is a consistent tradition. In previous years, he’s gifted the team YETI coolers, Rolex watches, and even personalized golf carts emblazoned with their jersey numbers. He explained in a 2022 appearance on Audacy’s The Drive radio show, “I tried to get everyone a little something. All the O-Line’s telling me they wanna golf, so I got them all custom fitted golf clubs, so hopefully they can pick up their game and they’ll be able to go out and play a few rounds with me.” He then upped the ante in 2023, providing fully stocked golf carts, which his teammates drove around Arrowhead Stadium.
“I got that golf cart, the club car, at home and I’m like, ‘Man, this is sweet.’ I was thinking of gift ideas and I wanted to change it up from what I’ve done in past years,” Mahomes stated during a Chiefs press conference in December 2023. “I figured I’d get them something I really enjoy. … They enjoyed it [and] were going around Arrowhead [Stadium in them].”
Teammate Travis Kelce revealed the team was “flying around” the parking lot in their new carts, noting they were street legal and traveling at around 35 miles per hour.
Unfortunately, Mahomes’ season ended abruptly on December 14th with an ACL injury. “Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie, it hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again,” Mahomes tweeted. He subsequently underwent surgery, with coach Andy Reid stating, “There have been some pretty good quarterbacks who have had the same injury, and they’ve done pretty well after they came back. He’ll get after it, and he’s got good people here to rehab him. He’ll be right on top of all of that.”
