West Virginia inside receivers coach Logan Bradley praised the Mountaineers’ talented receiver group and emphasized the importance of depth in their high-tempo offense in a press conference on Friday. Head coach Rich Rodriguez hired Bradley in March 2024. He previously worked at Auburn University, where he served as an offensive analyst from 2023 to 2024 and assistant tight end coach in 2025.
Bradley identified the three “top” inside receivers as senior Rodney Gallagher III, redshirt senior Jarod Bowie, and senior Oran Singleton Jr., expressing confidence in the trio. “The top three are very talented right now,” Bradley said. “I’ve been impressed with those guys since I got here in the spring. I believe all three have the ability to make a play. They’re as good as gold. You can’t ask for a better group.”
Gallagher enters his final season with the Mountaineers. He is one of just four returning receivers from the 2024 roster. Bradley complimented his football instincts and mental toughness. “He has a natural feel for the game. He can adjust at any point. He can come off the ball, read the coverage instantly, and understand what they were doing, and come back and tell us,” he said. “Coach Rodriguez wants someone who has that hard edge to him and wants to be coached hard, and that’s Rod. You can push him, and he can come back, and not worry about the last play.”
Bowie followed Rodriguez to WVU after two seasons under him at Jacksonville State. Last season, he averaged 15.9 yards per catch. Bradley applauded his ability to make plays. “He’s played for Coach Rodriguez, so he knows the system,” he said. “…He does a good job of getting upfield immediately, putting that foot in the ground, no dancing. At any point, he can turn a bubble into a 12-yard route, bringing you a first down. So that’s what you love from him, his ability to catch the ball and immediately get upfield.”
Singleton is a transfer from Eastern Michigan who led the team in catches, 64, and receiving yards, 639, in 2024. Bradley said his knowledge of the game makes him special. “[Singleton] is very smart. He can get on the board and draw up every position. Not just the slot and the outsides. He’s gonna draw up the running back and can tell you what the quarterback’s supposed to do. That’s what makes him special.”
The speed of the Mountaineer offense has been a prominent discussion throughout summer camp. With a fast tempo, frequent substitutions are expected. Bradley said he’s never seen an offense operate with such speed. “Coach Rodriguez has told us plenty of times he wants to play as many players as he can, and he means it. I tell the guys, you gotta stay ready cause we’re gonna be tempo. I mean, I’ve never seen an offense like this, this fast.”
Bradley said the Mountaineers’ fast-paced offense will put pressure on defenses—something WVU plans to take advantage of. “[Defenses] have to adjust off of us,” he said. “They don’t know what we’re doing. We’re the only people in the stadium who know what we’re doing. We should use that as our advantage. … If you play hard, run at full speed and give maximum effort, I don’t know, how could that not be in your favor?”
