Jordon Hudson Spotted at Boyfriend Bill Belichick’s UNC Game: Trademark Trouble Adds Drama

Jordon Hudson was in attendance at the University of North Carolina football game on Saturday, September 13th, cheering on her boyfriend, Bill Belichick. The Tar Heels secured a commanding 41-6 victory over the Richmond Spiders at Kenan Memorial Stadium, and Hudson was spotted enjoying the action from the sidelines, sporting a dark, sparkly top as she cozied up to Belichick, 73.

The appearance followed a setback for the couple’s attempt to trademark four of Belichick’s catchphrases, a strategy reportedly inspired by Taylor Swift, as reported by *Us Weekly*. They had sought to register “Do Your Job (Bill’s Version),” “Ignore the Noise (Bill’s Version),” “The Belestrator (Bill’s Version),” and “No Days Off (Bill’s Version).” However, the Patent and Trademark Office denied the application, citing potential market confusion.

Belichick’s hiring as the head football coach at UNC in December 2024 initially followed a rough start for the team with a 48-14 loss to Texas Christian University on September 1st. Senior TCU safety Bud Clark publicly mocked the relationship during an Instagram Live, jokingly urging Belichick to “call for his girlfriend!”

Despite the initial buzz, UNC players have rallied around the couple. Wide receiver Jordan Shipp recently clarified that Hudson’s involvement in the team’s operations was minimal, stating, “Social media can promote some narrative, but that was not a distraction to us at all. There was never a problem, like people saying she was running practice. We’d never really see her in the building.”

Belichick himself has emphasized his ability to separate his coaching responsibilities from his relationship with Hudson, stating, “I stay focused on football and, some of the other opportunities that come along, Jordon looks at those and can dig into them a little deeper.”

The UNC Tar Heels face the University of Central Florida Knights on Saturday, September 20th, at the Acrisure Bounce House in Orlando, Florida.
